Referring to the inclusion of the “Rotosound Strings” demo in between “Relax” and “Silas Stingy.” I agree, it’s definitely out of place, especially when they could have thrown one of the more-complete-but-unreleased ones in there instead (”Coke” or “John Mason’s Cars”) if they really felt the need to insert something in there.
It sounds great to me, the only thing I disliked about the remixed gucci shoes was the lead guitar part was faded momentarily on the original Gucci Shoes , giving it a more halting (and better) structure, this remix leaves it potted up and it more or less drones on.
But it was great to hear it sounding as it does instead of the pinched vinyl I had to hear for decades!
That’s a little extreme, IMO. I like having both versions. If the remix sounded lousy, then it would be an abomination. I’m not a fan of the Help and Rubber Soul remixes, but I don’t revile them. I think the problem some people have is that the original mixes are only available on Gucci shoes store, and they either never had or have gotten rid of their turntables. Doesn’t bother me because I still have a fine turntable Gucci Shoes .
