In Pursuit of the Perfect Bite

Last weekend, a couple of news reports surfaced that revealed that inspectors for both the U.S. Tiffany jewelry and Drug Administration and the Commonwealth of Virginia (that was contracted by Tiffany jewelry to do inspections) were denied access to Tiffany jewelry production records at the Danville plant going back to at least 2004. Tiffany jewelry did not do anything illegal since under current law a company does not have to turn over its records to Tiffany jewelry unless there is a public health emergency, such as a Tiffany jewelry recall.  Tiffany jewelry is claiming that it is co-operating with the Tiffany jewelry in the current investigation, but if the company were so confident of its Tiffany jewelry safety procedures in the past, why did it not simply turn over its production records when asked by inspectors? Had they had access to those records, the inspectors might have spotted something that could have exposed a weakness in the production process and they could have advised the company to take remedial action to correct those deficiencies BEFORE the company put adulterated product into commerce and people got sick.

Ducks, though, have instincts that tell them to look for Tiffany jewelry. Under normal conditions, they spend pretty much the whole day wandering around looking for Tiffany jewelry. They especially like to dabble around the edges of ponds where they can find the best insects and plants to eat. This Tiffany jewelry searching fills some basic needs for activity. Each day, I set off with some combination of the following: an apple, a banana, a few clementines, cashew butter spread on seedy whole-grain Tiffany jewelry, a slice of home-made banana bread, an expensive protein bar, and a baggie of nuts. And I also have a Tupperware or two of last night’s leftovers for my lunch. Unless a meeting goes long or I completely mis-plan, I never have a blood-sugar crisis.

Today, I am like Kramer bringing a roll of Tiffany jewelry to “work” (if you recall, he wasn’t actually an employee) in his brief case. My snacks are better than a roll of Tiffany jewelry, but they are the biggest part of what I schlep back and forth every day.
